This is an inter-denominational UK Christian organisation for people concerned about the environment.   It offers insights into ecology and the environment to Christian people and churches and offers Christian insights to the green movement.   There are many local branches throughout the UK.

The Ludlow branch of the CEL welcomes people from all churches and none around the Ludlow area.   Meetings art normally held on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm at either the Bishop Mascall Centre, or at 2 College Street, Ludlow.   Enquiries about meetings, or contact with the committee can be made through the Ludlow Parishes Secretary on 01584 872073.

A talk on “Transport in Rural Areas” by Tim King, Tourism Officer, SSDC

no meeting because this is Holy Week

Visit to carbon neutral housing at Almeley with Carey Glyn-Jones

Wednesday June 6th, at 6:00pm

Visit to plant nurseries in Kimbolton for a talk on “Gardening for Global Warming” by Tony Malpas

Wednesday July 8th,

Early evening visit to the Ludlow bio-digester.


For the last 3 visits names will be needed before hand to arrange car sharing.
