St Laurence's Church is visited by some 40 000 people from the UK and all over the world. We have a number of helpful Guide Books and Leaflets.

As you enter St Laurence's Church, a Steward is usually on hand to give you a free Leaflet, which tells you about the church. These mini-guides are also available in:

  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Spanish
  • Japanese
  • Polish

A complete Guidebook in English may be purchased at the Bookstall. There are also booklets about:

  • The Misericords in the High Chancel
  • The Snetzler Organ
  • The Windows and other items of local interest.

You will find more about these at the Bookstall.

Visiting the church is, or course, free of charge. The cost of conserving and maintaining the building is very high and we do suggest a donation of £3 per adult visitor to assist us with this.
